SpAz is @ it again... that's right, our local mutant collaborative is getting ready for the upcoming annual Autonomous Mutant Festival (http://mutantfest.org), or was the name changed to the Anonomous Mucas Feast of Evil?!? whatever...

as we get prepared for this years mutation... we are seeking artists, krafters, musicians, writers, thespians, circus performers, poets, indy media, etc... you are all invited to join us, mutants, in celebration of art and independence!

the event info is such thusfarce:

ON SUNDAY, JULY 18th, FROM 2 PM until 6 PM {movie night to follow until dark}, @ the very end of 4th and JONES st. in BERKELEY, @ SpAz North there will be a farts and crap show, or was it an art and kraft show, for lack of better words...?

Bring your piggie banks cause this art is not only for show, but for sale!

SO HERE IS HOW artists, performers, krafters, and healers GET INVOLVED:

vendors are asked to provide at least a modest $10 booth donation for the set up a reasonable area to show and sell your creations within our clean, well decorated, and spacious autonomous zone... for those who don't have money before the show, payments may be contributed and collected at the end of the show... basically, honesty is honored here... for no-one is turned away at the door. if you didn't make any money, you don't have to pay, just have fun and get to know people. first come, first serve when reserving spaces, so get there early and ready to set up. doors open to artists @ noon, public @ 2 pm.

{here are some ideas of what we're looking for: circus toys/puppets/carnival fashions/accessories/music/sculptures/stencils/drawings/paintings/dolls/visuals/indy media presentations/healing arts/antique to modern accepted/etc.} gypsies, clowns, and zombies welcome!


there will hopefully be some massage therapists, and tarot readers, as well... we have private rooms for those who would wish to create an ambiance. still accepting informal applications for these spaces, as well. {Jen @ 5lowershop, Crystal, Fox... if your out there, purty please fix our kinks?! we love your work!}

freeskool musicians, open mic poets, zine artists, lounge preformers are also encouraged to entertain... basically we are open to and for your creations.

the public will be asked to contribute at least a few dollar door donation to facilitate this event... and feel free to stay for Movie Night directly afterwords!!!

all proceeds are garunteed to beneffit the mutant artists and preformers going on the AMF journey in the pacific northwest at the end of July {free mutant festival open to the public somewhere out there...where the wild things are.}

complimentary VEGAN SNACKS will be provided by the collaborative with the culinary mastery of Stan and Jerry... mMMmm...
