PEOPLE RISE UP!
Siafu is looking to collaborate with peoples from the Bay Area to organize a mass mobilization in solidarity with the Poor People's March in NYC, when the Republican National Convention plans on visiting. Please contact if you know of any events that will be occurring in the Bay Area or if you would like to take part in organizing a mobilization.

Great stuff, and terrific news. The more the merrier and the more the better, as many places as often as possible;

Only one issue mars my otherwise complete support;

-- we should carefully consider how far we ourselves have yet to go when we deliberately distinguish between "people of color" and in this case, "white" allies.

There are no white people.

There are no black, red, yellow, or any other people.

There are, however, many people, of many hues and colors, which is in and of itself of no consequence whatsoever in a rational & humane society based on universal security and well being instead of the myth of universal....material & social opportunity.

To continue to opine the spiritually corrupted as well as biologically incorrect phraseologies regarding our species that have enslaved us all for so many centuries is not going to get us as far as quickly as the times demand.

Oligarchian despots, thugs for hire, traitors to the cause, murderers for profit, and political puppets on a string come in all .... hues and colors .... just pick one.

So do true blue Marines, and so do Working Class Heroes.

§Need a ride

Hi. I want to go to NYC to protest the RNC. Unfortunately, I'm close to broke and can't afford much for transportation costs. Are there any bus/van/car pools that I may be able to hitch a ride with? I would be able to pay some costs and would be selfreliant once in NYC. I live in Boise, ID. Thanks to anyone who responds.
