Resistance Cinema is a free film series started
in New York to raise awareness and bring communities
together for discussion. The first film in Resistance
Cinema's Oakland debut will be "Independant Media in a
Time of War" featuring Amy Goodman. This hard-hitting
new documentary is a scathing critique and a call to
action. Followed by Oakland Indy video producer Jay
Finneburg doing the local take on INDEPENDENT MEDIA IN
A TIME OF WAR with his guerilla videos of
international street-heat documentaries for free
speech TV and documentaries including the Oakland
docks police riot, the Cancun G8 summit protests and
the shutdown of downtown San Francisco.
