Just returned from Iraq, Dahr Jamail, one of only a handful of independent US correspondents in Baghdad, will speak about the US-led occupation and its effect on Iraqi citizens. Jamail’s work includes in-depth documentation on the massacre in Fallujah, meetings with victims of human rights abuse, observations about the destruction of Iraq’s infrastructure and the economic devastation brought about by massive privatization.
Requested donation $5, sliding scale. No one turned away for lack of funds.
