Please join us for an important conversation about countering military recruitment of young people and draft counseling. It will be lead by Steve Morse of the Central Committee for Conscientious Objectors chapter in Oakland, and will cover some of CCCO’s programs as well as general information about the draft, including registration requirements, consequences of non-registration, and the Delayed Enlistment Program.

As the Iraq War drags on long past its official end and legislation to renew the draft sits in committee on Capital Hill, it is time to get informed – and learn how to inform others – about the truths of war!

Free; sponsored by Peninsula Peace and Justice Center and Peace Umbrella of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Palo Alto.
