Two Israelis attempted to enter posing as furniture movers.

St. Marys, Georgia -- Two suspected Israeli spies caused a major crises at a nuclear submarine base in Georgia Friday. The base is located very close to Sea Island, where the three-day G-8 Summit will be held beginning June 8.

The story was first reported in the Jacksonville, Florida Times-Union newspaper on Saturday morning. The Associated Press also wrote a short piece on Saturday, but only three media outlets [in the entire country] ran with it.

By piecing together the little bit of information available, we learn that one occupant of the moving van was unable to provide base security personnel with proper credentials after arriving at the Franklin Gate entrance.

Base personnel then inspected the van using military dogs trained to detect bombs. One dog alerted guards to a briefcase in the truck. St. Marys police then closed access to an area one-half mile out surrounding the base, and a bomb squad was called in. As the base went into lockdown, the briefcase was removed from the vehicle with a remote control robot.

The two Israelis were detained for questioning as base security notified the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Naval Criminal Investigative Service. The FBI is still investigating the incident.

The two men, whose names were not released, were said to have been taken into custody by federal immigration officers in Savannah for possible deportation. (This seems to be the standard procedure whenever Israeli spies are nabbed.)

This is the second time in the past two weeks Israelis in a moving van have been detained near U.S. nuclear facilities.

Short history of Israeli 'movers'

Just last week two Israeli "movers" were arrested in a rural area of Tennessee, where nothing exists except two active nuclear power plants, and a third under construction. During a high-speed chase, the Israelis were seen throwing things out of the windows, including a bottle. Tests showed the bottle contained a mixture of Astromid 18, Gluconic acid and water. A chemist told Mad Cow Morning News, "It could possibly be an agent for growing some kind of bug." The Israelis were taken into custody by the FBI, then handed over to the Immigration and Naturalization Service for deportation.

In October of 2001, shortly after the 9-11 attacks, two Israeli men in a moving van were arrested after being found with detailed video footage of the Sears Tower in Chicago. Another five "movers" were arrested on September 11th, 2001, as they watched and celebrated as the Twin Towers crumbled. Soon after, Urban Moving System's Israeli owner, Dominick Suter, dropped his business and fled the country for Israel. The G-8 Summit will be held on June 8-10, 2004. President Bush has chosen the remote location of Sea Island, Georgia as the site for the summit -- it's just across from the sub base. The island is known as a vacation spot for the elite, including celebrities, royalty, and wealthy business people. Bush's mother and father honeymooned on the island, and have vacationed there several times since then.

The exclusive island's remote location and large, high-tech security force will make access all but impossible for anti-globalization protesters. No protesters will be allowed on Sea Island itself. Even journalists will be housed in Savannah, 75 miles away. Georgia Gov. Sonny Perdue has declared a state of emergency in six Georgia coastal counties beginning Monday as an additional security precaution. The action will place the National Guard, state law enforcement and public health agencies under one office, reducing response time in the event of a terrorist strike or protests.

The group of 8 countries (G-8) that are involved in the Summit include the United States, Canada, Germany, the UK, Russia, Japan, and France. The Summit's mission is to advance the neoconservative globalist agenda. Basically, it's a three-day lobbying effort targeting world leaders.

Arab leaders have been invited to attend the summit, which will focus on efforts to promote "democratization" of the Middle East. By inviting them, the neocons hope to mitigate criticism about the "reform plan" being imposed from the outside.

The Bush administration's Greater Middle East Initiative has angered many Arab leaders who understand that it's code for 'regime change.' Leaders of Arab regimes who don't expect to be "changed" -- King Abdullah of Jordan, Yemen President Ali Abdullah Saleh, and Bahrain's king, Sheik Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa -- are expected to attend. While the leaders of Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Iran, Syria and others, are not expected to attend.

Are the Israelis after Trident II Missile technology?

Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay, is the east coast homeport for the Ohio-class fleet ballistic-missile submarine and the only naval base in the Atlantic fleet capable of supporting the Trident II (D-5) missile.

The base is home to Submarine Group 10, Submarine Squadrons 16 & 20, Trident Training Facility, Trident Refit Facility, Strategic Weapons Facility Atlantic, and other support-providing commands.

Submarine launched nuclear ballistic missiles (SLBMs) started in l956 with the U.S. Navy Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) Polaris (A1) program. Since then, the SLBM has evolved through Polaris (A2), Polaris (A3), Poseidon (C3) and today’s force of Trident I (C4) and Trident II (D5).

Trident II (D5) was first deployed in 1990 and is planned to be deployed past 2020. Each missile costs about $60 million. The missile has a range of more than 4,000 nautical miles (4,600 statute miles) and travels at a speed in excess of 20,000 feet (6,096 meters) per second. Each Ohio-class submarine carries 24 of the missiles.

The missile's nuclear warhead is approximately six times the destructive force of the 15-kiloton atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima, which killed 100,000 people immediately and is responsible for another 100,000 deaths since 1945.

The Bush administration has already supplied Israel with Harpoon cruise missiles armed with nuclear warheads. The missiles were deployed on Israel's fleet of Dolphin-class submarines, which were extracted from Germany as WWII "reparations." The German subs are routinely described as a "donation" by Israel and controlled media.

The three Dolphin class submarines, which can remain at sea for a month, are equipped with six torpedo tubes suitable for 21-inch torpedoes that are normally used on most submarines.

It is believed that the Trident II (D-5) missile can be retrofitted to work with the Dolphin-class submarines.

Israel's seaborne nuclear doctrine is designed to place one submarine in the Persian Gulf, the other in the Mediterranean, with a third on standby.
