The USA administration is directly responsible for the crimes committed against Iraqi prisoners

After a long cover up by the USA officials the smell of the sadistic practices by the USA and British troops against the Iraqi prisoners and detainees has filled the world. The images featuring torture, humiliation and sexual assaults revealed by the international media has sparked a widespread anger and condemnation by the international public opinion and in particular by the Iraqi masses discontent at the USA policies. The savage sadism reveal by these photos despite its hideousness is a tiny portion of the real crimes committed by the coalition forces. The majority of these practices are war crimes in the full sense of the world.

These hideous and brutal practices by the USA forces have provided another spur to strengthen political Islam in Iraq and the region. They have also showed the hypocrisy of all the USA claims about “ democracy”, “ human rights” and “ liberating Iraq”. Torturing and humiliating prisoners on the one hand and reinstating Baathist criminals in power especially in military and security domains on the other hand are two faces of the same policy. The USA has proved that it wants a rule with Saddam’s fist but without Saddam. It has also showed readiness to horrify any person or party who try to protest against its inhumane policies and practices.

The Worker-communist Party of Iraq categorically condemns the practices of the USA and British troops in physically and mentally torturing the prisoners and detainees and demands putting the top officials of the USA administration in trial as they are directly responsible for what is happening in Iraq beside those who committed these horrifying crimes and ordered them in an international court to face justice on the crimes which violate the basic human values and standards. The WPIraq insists that ending the current tragedy and the ongoing suffering in Iraq is impossible without withdrawal of the occupation forces from Iraq and building a secular and non- nationalist government to determine the political fate of the society and without endorsing the basic human rights and freedoms in Iraq. The party insists that any talk about happiness and prosperity is irrelevant as long as the society is hostage to the USA and Islamic terrorists. The Worker-communist Party of Iraq calls on international public opinion, left and progressive forces and human right organisations to expose the USA policies and demand to bring the top heads of the USA administration to justice and to demand the immediate withdrawal of its forces from Iraq.

No to the USA violations against Iraqi masses!
For freedom and equality!
