Woman gets arrested at MayDay Street Party

by Mahtin (themahtin [at] hotmail.com)
Does one person jaywalking merit that person being chased down and thrown on the ground? Can people observe the arrest? Can they find out where the people who were arrested are being taken to?

As the pictures show, this woman was trying to cross the street to rejoin her friends. Difficult with all this traffic. Seems like the cops could have stopped traffic further back in the block.

Note how she sort of crouches down as the cop is coming at her- seems to be anticipating an impact.

this first picture has her in the far right corner...

I wrote an insightful comment and put it up here, I come back to see if there is discussion on it, and I find it is removed! What the hell? Does this site allow any critical discussion ????

That first picture is great evidence of her commiting the vehicle code violation. The second is great for her resisting the lawful arrest. I hope she appreciates you just losing the case for her. Thanks for the pictures.
PS: do you have any more of her running from the cops? More of the crowd trying to intimidate the officers would be nice too. Thanks again

i didn't realize showing the palms of your hands to a fully armed cop is an intimidating action??
