AACM is excited to present Pandit Swapan Chaudhuri in a rare tabla solo. If you have not had the opportunity to share an evening of pure Lucknow compositions and enjoy the power and poetry of Swapan Chaudhuri’s tabla performance, you will not want to miss this special evening. AACM is honored to present tabla solo by Swapanji, who has served as AACM’s Director of Percussion for over 22 years. Joining Swapanji on sarangi will be none other than Pandit Ramesh Misra. Rameshji’s gorgeous melodies will be the perfect addition to this performance.
Bay Area favorite, Srimati Lakshmi Shankar, will conclude the evening with a vocal performance. Lakshmiji has been mesmerizing audiences for decades with her rich voice and beautiful compositions.
