Dr. Abdelfattah Abu-Srour was born in Aida refugee camp-Palestine. His parents are refugees from 1948, from their village called Beit Natif, located about 17 Km to south west of Jerusalem. He has a PhD in Biological and Medical Engineering.
He created Al-Rowwad in 1998, to give the children of the camp the possibility to express themselves in a non-violent, and beautiful way, via theatre, painting, education...etc.

Abdelfattah will be speaking about and showing footage of the activities of Al-Rowwad. He will be raising money for a large theater and dance tour next year.
