Fresno protests U.S. Coup in Haiti
Todays Fresno protest against the U.S. coup in Haiti.
At Noon today people gathered in the rain at the Federal building In Fresno to protest the United States involvement with the Coup in Haiti. About a dozen of us held signs calling for democracy in Haiti. We also asked Senator Boxer to take a stand against Bushes illegal actions in Haiti.

Thursday, March 11 – 4:45-5:45 PM
Join us for a demonstration at the Fresno Federal Building, 1130 O Street to protest the overthrow of democratically elected Haiti President, Jean-Bertrand Aristide. For more information contact Patrick Young at WheelchairBusProject [at] hotmail.com or (559) 244-1042. Signs will be provided.
Patrick is on the road to Oregon to seek support for Haiti and asked me to get the details to you. Please share this information with your family, friends, and community groups. The Fresno Bee told Patrick they won’t cover an event unless 50+ people are there. Let us show them what the progressive community of Fresno can do. We hope you can join us on Thursday.
In Peace,
