U.S. Cities and Townships That Rely On The LGBT Tourist Dollar

We, the undersigned, pledge to boycott the following gay resort towns to protest their irresponsible lack of action in allowing equal rights for committed same-sex couples to marry. Until they begin issuing marriage licenses to same-sex couples who request them, we will use our considerable power as consumers to keep our gay dollars and spend them in cities and towns that have committed to full citizenship rights for same-sex citizens. We will not be treated as less than equal in towns that depend so heavily on our patronage!

We urge the domestic and international lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender community to not vacation or visit the following American towns:

Key West, FL
Fort Lauderdale, FL
Provincetown, MA
West Hollywood, CA
Palm Springs, CA
Asheville, NC
Cherry Grove (Fire Island), NY
Miami Beach, FL
Saugatuck, MI
Ogunquit, ME

Instead, we urge the domestic and international LGBT community to spend their money in the following U.S. cities and towns that have committed fully to equal rights:

New Paltz, NY
San Francisco, CA
Portland, OR

As various cities and towns comply with our wishes, we urge you to end your boycott of them. But until that time, we say NOT ONE QUEER DOLLAR, NOT ONE QUEER CENT!!! We Will Not Remain Apathetic As You Grow Rich Off Our Backs!
