Pledge to Support Grocery Workers
Dear friend,
I won't cross a grocery store picket line. And I'm asking my friends to pledge to do the same.

Dear friend,
I won't cross a grocery store picket line. And I'm asking my friends to pledge to do the same.
Why are 70,000 grocery workers in California walking picket lines at Kroger, Ralphs, Safeway,
Vons
and Albertsons supermarkets? It's because the giant grocery chains, taking their cue from
Wal-Mart,
want to boost corporate profits by slashing their employees' health care coverage.
If the grocery chains win this fight, who will lose their health care benefits next?
There's a simple thing you can do to help support the workers that are risking their livelihoods
to
stand up for health care benefits. Pledge not to cross a grocery store picket line and ask your
friends to do the same. If enough shoppers make this pledge, the chains should realize that
arbitration is in their best interests, too.
It only took me a few seconds to sign the pledge and I'm hoping you'll sign it, too. Just click
the
link below.
