Anatomy of the Progressive Movement and People of Color
Do the Progressives really understand People of Color Issues?
Voter turnout in Communities of Color indictates the answer.
Voter turnout in Communities of Color indictates the answer.
Why have the Progressives of San Francisco missed the boat on understanding people of Color Community’s issues? Were they afraid of becoming too close to the relevant issues of People of Color, environment, immigration, redevelopment, development, wages, health, insurance, safety, and to be able to live without intimidation?
Did they meet with the various independent community leaders or did they just want a head count vote for their candidates?
Can they identify the issues that control people’s lives in Communities of Color?
If not the vote will continue to go to the right, due to voter apathy, and an overall feeling of neglect, So in some small way we are all tied together, dependent on each other if we want progressive change
