Two short films - the first (by Jeremy Blasi) is on the proposed FTAA (Free Trade Area of the Americas - would be a NAFTA-style trade agreement) documenting some of the negative effects NAFTA has had in North America as evidence that plans under the same model will have equally, if not more so, detrimental effects. The second is a video on the worsened situation in El Salvador since the peace negotiations of 1992, leading up to another proposed NAFTA-style trade agreement CAFTA (Central America Free Trade Agreement). Following videos will be a report-back from a CISPES (Committee in Solidarity with the People of El Salvador) delegation meeting with leaders from many sectors of the social movement (labor, women's movement, FMLN) by delegates LeiLani Dowell, Melanie Pilbin and Alicia Grogan-Brown.
