Description: All youth who are interested in environmental and social change: Acterra High Schools
Group is presenting it's eight annual youth conference, Deep Green Global Training. The conference
will feature keynote presentations from Julia Butterfly Hill (famous tree-sitter, social and
environmental Activist), Van Jones (Executive National Director of the Ella Baker Center for Human Rights),
and Ocean Robbins (founder of Youth for Environmental Sanity). Workshops and skill trainings will include:
"decolonization," "art in activism," "urban gardening," "Environmental Justice," "patriarchy" and
more. This by-youth for-youth conference will bring together teens from all over the Bay Area for a
positive, inspirational, and empowering weekend.
