Ricardo Monge is Secretary General of the Salvadoran Public Health Care Workers’ Union (Sindicato de Trabajadores del Instituto Salvadoreño del Seguro Social - STISSS). He will discuss how Bush’s War on Terrorism is being used to crackdown on immigrants, people of color, and the working class in this country, as well as a justification for pushing through disastrous free trade policies in the Global South. Featuring Guest Presenters from: Women’s Collective of SF Day Labor Program and the California Nurses Association. Bilingual, $5-$25 donation (no one turned away for lack of funds).
