Students for a Democratic Society was one of the major student organizations of the 1960s -- fighting against the Vietnam War, for Civil Rights and dramatically changing American politics. By the end of the decade, however, it was a shell of its former self; many of its most active members had formed the Weather Underground, an organization that traded SDS's broad-based political organization for individual acts of violence.

This brand new documentary explores the history of the Weather Underground, why it formed, and its ultimate demise. In so doing, it provides valuable lessons for today's activists.
