MAYA'S MUSIC THERAPY FUND ANNOUNCES FIRST ANNUAL SILENT AUCTION BENEFITING DISABLED CHILDREN & ADULTS. East Bay Music Therapy Non-Profit Invites Public to Help Save Its Struggling Program.

Maya's Music Therapy Fund, a non-profit organization operating out of Richmond, CA, invites the public to attend its first annual Silent Auction from 7:00-10:00 PM on Saturday, February 28th, 2004 at the Oakland Marriott City Center hotel. The event will offer numerous donated items up for auction, including a B&B getaway to Mendocino; Napa Wine Train ride/dinner; handblown glass objects; local theatre tickets; artwork by Bay Area artists; and more. Entrance is $100.00 per couple, half of which is tax-deductible. Refreshments and hors d'oeuvres will be served. Proceeds benefit Maya's Music Therapy program, an organization that provides music therapy to disabled East Bay residents, and which is in serious danger of closing its doors due to lack of funding. For tickets or more information please call 925-377-1895, or visit http://www.mayasmusic.org.
