Free Screening- "Victory" - Soccer film series

Film: "Victory" (1981) Pele, Michael Caine, and Sylvester Stallone play Allied POWs chosen to play soccer on a team against the Nazi team in France. On game day they are forced to make a decision between escaping or finishing the game. There are some excellent soccer scenes in this movie, which is the first in a soccer film series at the Long Haul in preparation for the anarchist soccer tournament scheduled around the San Francisco Anarchist Book Fair weekend in March.

This movie is brought to you free of charge as part of a winter film series at the Long Haul.
