Our world is changing. These are crucial times
and the time to effect positive change is now!
Here at EBCC AmeriCorps, we provide alternatives
for national service. Our AmeriCorps programs have
been getting things done in Oakland for over eight
years, and over a thousand members have served the
Oakland community. We have community service positions
as literacy tutors in Oakland's public elementary and
middle schools for those interested in helping children
realize their full potentials. Through the Environmental
and Health & Garden teams we are helping build, restore,
and regenerate our environment.
Take the first step, and come join us at the first
annual EBCC AmeriCorps Information Night at the Oakland
Main Library auditorium. Come one, come all! There is
will be a panel of dynamic speakers who will enlighten
us with their experiences and thoughts on AmeriCorps past,
present, and future. You will also have the opportunity
to meet current members and Alumni.
