The Black Flag Project Where music and Revolution meet! with performances from: Feenom Circle Labrie and the ALLIANC Lia Rose the Collaborative Arts Insurgence and an Open Mic Hosted by Emcee Lynx Friday November 21st 2263 Mission St. San Francisco 7:30pm-midnight $5 Donation, no one turned away. The Black Flag Project is a regular showcase for Politically conscious musicians (and specifically Anarchists and other revolutionaries). The Event will be held once a month and consists of an Open-mic, intersperesed with performances from featured artists and a live jam band. (If you play an instrument and want to jam, come on down!) The event is focussed primarily on Hip Hop and Spoken Word, but all types of music is welcome. Singers, MC's, Poets, etc. are all welcome on the open mic, the only rule is that you have to keep it Conscious and Positive (ie: no sexist, racist, homophobic, or bling-bling bullshit!). Please repost this notice everywhere that it's appropriate to do so, and pass it along to your friends.
