BENEFIT DANCE PARTY FOR
CARIBBEAN MEDICAL TRANSPORT
PRESENTED BY TINA FLORES
$8.00 OR SLIDING SCALE
Katalu, a nine-piece Oakland band made up of local schoolteachers (!) will play 3 hours of HOT Cuban and Puerto Rican music for you to dance and party to. This party will benefit Caribbean Medical Transport, a project of the Oakland/Santiago de Cuba Sister City Organization. The band will be followed by DJ music. This music and dance celebrates our determination to support Cuba in the eye of the storm! CMT will be sending 3 containers of medical equipment and supplies to Santiago in November. The money raised this night will help pay for transportation to Cuba.
