Daniel Pearl Music Day in the North Bay. Saturday, October 11 at 8pm Sunday, October 12 at 2pm Sonoma County Day School- Jackson Theatre 441 Aviation Blvd Santa Rosa, CA 95403 The Cotati Philharmonic Orchestra will present 2 free classical concerts in honor of Daniel Pearl, the journalist killed in Pakistan in 2002. Pieces by Mozart and Hindesmith, as well as Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony will be featured. October 10 would have been Pearl’s 40th birthday and musicians worldwide will be dedicating concerts to his memory in the hope that music can teach us to overcome our differences.
