WHY WE NEED A REVOLUTION PRESENTED BY JESSIE MULDOON While the U.S. has the greatest wealth, we also have dire poverty -- and the gap between the rich and the poor only grows wider. The U.S. hypocritically touts freedom and democracy, but represses rights at home while bombing Afghanistan. The U.S. is conducting a massive, expensive "war on terrorism" but trained the same people it vilifies today, and in fact runs the School of the Americas to train dictators in Latin America. Capitalism is destroying the planet, and threatens to take humanity along with it. Let’s not let it happen: we can organize a resistance to the horrors of capitalism, and build a revolutionary movement.
