This six hour training will provide activists with basic first aid skills valuable for protests and beyond. It will give you valuable skills, knowledge and confidence you can use anywhere, not just at protests, for you and your affinity group.
You will learn interventions that include treating a sprained ankle, wound care, chemical weapons decontamination, more complex medical problems, to emotional aftercare.
Course trainers are experienced practitioners, activists, and educators. There are no prerequisites. This course is also valuable for people with advanced medical training, creating a new context for skills and knowledge.
This course will help you to be safer and stronger in your activism. Expect to have lots of fun !
