JUSTICE IS THE MOTHER OF PEACE Presented by WENDY SNYDER Martin Luther King, Jr. said it: “Peace is not the absence of tension but the presence of justice.” A community forum including Omali Yeshitela -- leader of the International People's Democracy Uhuru Movement -- will address peace with justice. An anti-war movement becomes broad, inclusive, and effective when it supports justice. Tel: 510-625-1106. This forum is FREE, but donations are most welcome. They will benefit the African People’s Solidarity Committee. "Uhuru" is an African word meaning "freedom." With justice, peace and freedom will shine like the sun.
