Friday, March 21, 2003. 8-11PM $5 What They Shoulda Taught Free School benefit The "What They Shoulda Taught Free School" (aka Do-It-Herself-Skillshare-Collective) is having a benefit to help fund future skill shares and workshops that help fight oppression, and all its forms, through education. The collective is volunteer run, and organizes workshops that teach attendees everything from basic tool skills to vegan cooking, bike repair, and many other skills. The benefit starts with a German documentary on sex work, politics, women and queers in San Francisco, and it continues with frippery and fancy scandalous surprises: dancing, music, spoken word. Wear your most scandalous outfit, and bring dollar bills for raffle tickets, vegan cookies, and lap dancing! For more information contact us at(415) 920-8970.
