Electronic dance communities aren't just dancing -- we are music, we are
art, we are production...and in all of these things, we are
communicating.
Our inaugural Storm Session this February will consist of a series of
discussions and workshops about communication inside our communities,
between our communities, and with the larger local, national, and global
communities that surround and include us whether we like it or not.
Currently planned topics include:
- history of a few influential SF Bay Area electronic music collectives
- dealing with the media, politicians, and the general public
- online communication and security
- communicating through art
- and more
$12 conference
$5 optional lunch
Free afterparty lounge ($5 for non-conference-attendees)
