For over a year, Women's International League for Peace and Freedom has sponsored a weekly Listening Project which promotes dialogue on vital issues. We have tables, information, leaflets, food, banners, chairs, and invite people to respond to three questions- "What do you think/feel about the events of September 11th, and the U.S. government's response?" "How do you think we could 'defuse' terrorism?" "How could we make a safer, better, world for our children, and all children?" We write down people's responses and then usually begin to dialogue and offer our information. All are welcome to come and participate in whatever way you feel comfortable. Photos and details can be found at http://www.communitycurrency.org/9-11.html
