Palestine is Still the Issue

Wed Dec 11th, 8 Pm, $5 and up John Pilger's latest film, Palestine Is Still The Issue, has been broadcast by ITV1 in the UK and SBS in Australia. The film saw Pilger return to the Middle East, twenty-five years after first reporting from the region, to ask why Palestinians are still refugees in their own land. Plus a discussion and an eyewitness report from Jamie Spector from the International Solidarity Movement (ISM) who just returned from Palestine. This event is a fundraiser for Left Turn magazine which is solely supported by its readers and members and is dedicated to the coverage of struggles against globalization, imperialism and war, police brutality and for workers' rights.
