The Lola Gallery presents “Bizarre Bazaar”, a ten day seasonal sale of affordable artwork, crafts and fashion.
San Francisco, November, 2002. The Lola Gallery hosts the exhibition sale Bizarre Bazaar from December 12 to December 23, 2002.
Bizarre Bazaar showcases the work of over 25 artists in a diverse range of media, including fine art and installation, photography, craft, and fashion.
Bizarre Bazaar is organized by guest curator Cornelia Jensen and The Lola Gallery. The purpose of the show is to offer a broad selection of artistic creations at very affordable prices and in doing so, encourage clientele to support the local artists community. The exhibition features a very eclectic salon style presentation of fine art including works by San Francisco artists such as Sirron Norris and Vikki Vaden and serene realist and abstract photographic prints by Naseema Khan and Leila Fakouri among others. Cartoons and new work by Jeff Roysdon will also be on display and a very special Lola Gallery Christmas installation. The show will offer a diverse array of sculptural objects, crafts and fashions which will make ideal holiday gifts.
In conjunction with “Bizarre Bazaar”, The Lola Gallery will be hosting a number of events. The opening reception will feature music by the illustrious Winter Flowers. During the busy Christmas week that follows, there will be several performance acts by Bay Area artists, music by local djs, opportunities to “meet and greet” the artists and egg nog festivities! Please contact us for further information on the above. This exhibition will have special extended opening hours, from 2 – 8pm Monday to Saturday. On Sunday December 15, come and visit The Lola Gallery exhibition booth at Santa’s Black Market, a counter culture craft fair and cabaret at SomArts Gallery.
