According to Michael Nagler, founder of the UC Berkeley Peace and Conflict Studies program, "the choice between violence and nonviolence is the most important choice facing every person and society today." The panelists will discuss and debate the means to social change - from the Israel/Palestinian conflict, war in Iraq and Afghanistan, and the U.S. war on terrorism to Bay Area community activism.
