Protest the War Vote -- this action is now scheduled for Thursday Oct. 10! If the House OR Senate votes to give Bush license to attack Iraq….authorizing a war of aggression that would kill thousands of civilians, cost taxpayers billions, lose the friendship of our allies and destabilize the Middle East… Fill the air with our outraged voices! Fill the streets with our marching feet! Emergency response plan for the SF Bay Area: BART alert: 4:30 PM after the first vote…meet at Market and Montgomery, San Francisco MARCH to the Federal Building, 450 Golden Gate Avenue, and surround it with unprecedented outbreaks of democracy… Nightlong vigil, drums, dancing, People’s Assemblies, skills sharing, direct action trainings, candles, rites of exorcism and healing to bring Liberty back from the dead (and whatever else we can think of or get away with…) A government that does not reflect the will of the people is illegitimate… Shut it down! 7 AM nonviolent civil disobedience at the Federal Building.
