He has written extensively on international trade and finance, as well as on African economic integration. Carola Kinasha, Tanzania, works with the Tanzania Gender Networking Program, which fights for women's equality and rights in Tanzania and throughout Africa. She also contributes to the struggle through her songs and dance. Rebecca Malay, Philippines, works with the Philippine Freedom from Debt Coalition, composed of organizations and individuals from across the political spectrum. They have played crucial roles in a number of national mobilizations, including campaigns against the Bataan Nuclear Power Plant, increases in oil prices, and attempts to impose a Value-Added Tax.
