Thousands Take To Streets Demanding US Out Of Iraq

The pictures arent bad, but I'd like to point out that the protesters arent demanding. They're begging.
They cannot demand, because they have no power over Washington. They can only beg helplessly, while Washington does at it pleases - same as always.
These protests are a nice idea, but they consume valuable resources - namely the time and energy of the participants.
And what do they accomplish? They marched and "demanded" that no war against Iraq begin in the first place - yet the war happened anyway. They marched and demanded no bombing of Afghanistan - yet it happened.
I'm sure these protests are great fun for those involved, as a kind of social activity. But let's be honest - it aint working.
All that is being accomplished, is for the protesters to entertain themselves. The occupation continues unobstructed. And a lot of energy is wasted while activsts render themselves as irrelevant to Bush as the UN.
