This August, hundreds of students and community members from across the country will converge in Austin, TX for the Campus Greens National Convention. The convention organizers hope to start a dialogue on the ways in which young people can make a difference on their campus and in their communities. By using a systemic analyze, the Campus Greens hope to discuss how to be pro-active in a pre-emptive world. The weekend will include amazing workshops, skills shares, inter-regional dialogues, speakers, panels, music, and will culminate in a super rally with invited guests such as Ani DiFranco, Jello Biafra, Winona LaDuke, Kevin Danaher, Ralph Nader and more! Workshops include: Starting a Student-Run Recycling Taking Over Student Government Eco-Feminism Silk Screening Queer Activism Starting a University Watchdog Organization on campus and many more!
