The SDF top brass should thank the protestors for bringing them out for some fresh air. They all seem much happier. I bet they feel gloomy being stuck behind their desks all day. A good sign (I hope) that we all can live "harmoniously". Let's see if the peace activists can convert the corporate executives to re-learn the life's basic - be happy, be one of us.

All coppers are bastards. We have the same problem here in the U.K, pigs of all ranks everywhere. Even if protests are peaceful, these coppers have to justify thier overtime expenses. If they were intent on simply 'upholding the law', how is it that war-criminals remain at large (i.e Bush & Blair)?

my stepmother, who is a citizen of victoria, b.c., just looked over my shoulder at these images and remarked, astoundedly, "my god, they look like thugs!" right on, stepmom. i'm here in victoria visiting her and my father and occasionally i get the chance to discuss important global and social issues with them to get their perspectives on the goings-on of the u.s. i've told them about my ordeal in february, protesting and being arrested in san francisco. i'm glad that, while she admitted to me moments before her comment that she's not too hip on the whole war-and-the-u.s.-protesters deal, she still had the presence of mind and correct intuition to identify these guys as what they really are.

Uh...I think the protest was on a week day. The command staff of the SFPD works on weekdays for straight time. Unless they cancelled days off to have officers work the protest, no one was making overtime. Learn the facts before you comment on shit you don't know about.
