March Pictures from Oakland
Here are some photos I took of the march going from Jack London Square to Oakland's City Hall. It went well, and people were honking in support of the march.

There are two upcoming events in the Oakland community involving the police brutality of April 7th. There will be a Town Hall Meeting on Monday April 28, 7pm @ the First Congregation Church on 27th and Harrison Streets. And on Tuesday April 29, 3pm there will be a Public Safety Committee meeting/hearing in the Oakland City Hall. They will be taking testinomy from activists and if I recall correctly, from the police as well- so if you were at the Oakland Docks April 7th, please go. The committee will also give members of the community a chance to speak about what they think of the police brutality at the docks during the hearing.
The people of Oakland have shown the longshoremen and anti-war activists solidarity, it is time we return the favor and support them in their struggles. Please visit the PUEBLO: People United for a Better Oakland website at: http://www.peopleunited.org/
