Pictures From Antiwar March From West Oakland BART To Downtown
On April 7th 2003, several hundred protesters gathered at the Port Of Oakland to protest American President Lines role in helping ship material used to massacre Iraqi civilians. While the protest was peaceful, the police showed up in force shooting wooden pellets, concussion grenades, and beanbags full of metal pellets indiscriminately into the crowd. Several protesters were seriously wounded. After the crowd was forced back up 7th street to the West Oakland BART, a march took place to the federal building in downtown Oakland.

I wonder if any of these PIGS include members of the drug-dealing, corrupt, violent thug gang Oakland Riders? As we all know Oakland PD are pieces of shit who barely qualify as law enforcement. Perhaps this incident will begin to shed some light on what these sickos do on a daily basis on the streets of Oakland.
I heard that 10 or more of OPD are currently taking leave to serve with the armed forces in Iraq, I'm sure the remaining ones probably support them a-plenty and hate all the protesters with a passion. It's fucked up, cause there is actual violent crime that needs police attention in Oakland, and they're off shooting at peaceful protesters. Remind me why we're still paying taxes to these people?

Just pay my dear. We need it. Its just because we need some of our young man and firecrackers and that stuff. Why? Oh, Dick and Condi had to have some work for their oil companys, then there were all the old texan oil friends which a had to thank for their support, then there is the ultra-right israeli lobby who asked me to do them a favour, the weapon industry told me, that our military material stock (missiles, bombs, tanks, helicopters) is gonna expire and has to be refilled, oh i forgot my daddy, who wanted me to do this, because he knows now, that saddam is really bad, also all this troubles in homeland politics you know, i had to start a war, to show you what troubles we can really produce when we want. I also want to thank my brother who supported my good vote counting and especially Al gore for rallying against me, (thans Al, hope you enjoy the gifts).

Ever heard of "No taxation without representation?" Well, when our own law enforcement attacks people gathering peacfully to engage in their constitutionally-given right; when the roads we drive on are ragged and worn; when the schools our children attend are severly underfunded, overcrowded, and under constant budgetary stress; when the programs for the needy dissapear faster each day; you question why you are supporting a system that no longer supports you.
No matter if you are coming or going into this country, the door is still going to hit you if you insist on keeping your head up your ass.

about time for more violence? oh i see...about time for the police to take away our civil rights.....yeah that makes sense......dont worry we will leave you out of it....try to get the same guarantee from the police....they have no problem engaging either peaceful demonstrators OR clueless civilians......maybe thats what you should be worrying about.....
...that you guys are still paying taxes.
STOP PAYING YOU TAXES if you disagree with the war, pigs, etc....
Think about it folks:
Coporations dont pay shit for taxes
Rich people dont pay shit for taxes
Poor people who oppose the war wont pay taxes at all
=
No tax money for the government
How are they gonna arrest the 5 + million people who refuse to pay taxes.
The police wont get payed for it
Prisons wont get paid for holding people (as if there was room anyway)
The IRS agent wont get paid to investigate it
The War factories wont get paid
the soilders wont get paid
Of course the only ones who would get paid in such a crisis would be the politicians cause "they say so" (who cares?)
Were already in a financial crisis thanks to the Idiot son. the US wouldnt be able to take a blow like that.

when living expenses exseed the amount one can make at work or home. how can anyone justify supporting a gov. that makes it a prioraty to mask the faces of the people who controll the revanue. the Irs has never been audited! and the fedaral reserve is no more federal then federal express. who the fuck is accountable.... i'll tell you who--------you are! the more of us that dont buy in the closer we are to a resalutoin........maybe even Revalution.
Unfortunately, the #1 problem with not paying taxes (retaliation aside), is that they're easily capable of simply printing more money. Of course, this does have the side-effect of nasty inflation, which reduces the value of the money that you (and everyone else, government included) actually owns.
A noble gesture, but rarely effective, I'm afraid.
I still advise petitioning, because when the entire population of a country disagrees with it's leader, they won't last forever. Thank goodness that even the most corrupt political leaders in a democratic society _can_ be voted out.
Pity I can't remember the country that I was going to use as an example, but perhaps it was the Solomon Islands that I'm thinking of?
