Miranda Rights Card and arrest souvenirs
Images of the materials from my recent arrest.

I took the following photos of the ticket, the Miranda Rights card, Inspection stickers and other articles that I have from my recent trip/arrest - Washington DC - International Women's Day.
I was the first woman arrested in front of the White House on 3/8/03. Myself, Amy Goodman, Medea Benjamin, Alice Walker, Susan Griffin, Nina Utne, and about 20 other women were arrested while singing during a blissful demonstration. Amy Goodman and I were reporting during the demonstration. Amy spoke about the arrest on her show "Democracy Now". The demonstration was a part of the Code Pink 4 Peace rally and march held on International Women's Day.

So much detail, so many pictures of the same thing...So little relevance to San Francisco. Imagine if all 2000 of us posted pictures of our tickets and wristbands...
Hello, thanks for being part of the solution and thanks much for an interesting photo essay. It is important to document police behaviour, and I appreciate seeing the legal references & materials. It sux that police evidently shortchange arrestees by not correctly informing them of their rights, even as they are being violated. Further details of the protests in DC would be welcome also.
