URGENT VIDEO/PHOTO DOCUMENTATION NEEDED to REFUTE FELONY CHARGES
Man involved in peaceful protest was beaten by police at intersection of Ellis/4th and Market on Thursday March 20th at approximately 11 AM. After assisting a woman whose arm was broken by police during the same incident, he was arrested and charged with two counts of felony battery of a police officer. He is 35-40 years old, half black/half white, slender, 6 feet tall, with a shaved head and a trim half-beard. He was wearing a brown leather jacket and blue jeans.

I saw a woman with a cast that said "courtesy of the SFPD" on the sling. What was the context in which it was broken? Was she attacked on the sidewalk or was she locked down?

4th and market was crazy. I am also looking for pictures and/or footage of myself getting hit my a cop. I have pink/red hair and was wearing a white thermal. It would really help if i got some from behind the cop and the front of me. I already have 1 possibly 2 videos of the back, however, i'm getting up and the cop may say i was going towards him. I have none of the cop knocking me down. Also, pictures/footage of guy who is wearing black jeans, black hoodie, and a maroon and white baseball cap and is getting pushed my police would be helpful. We were both on 4th and market between 11 and 11:30. I'm not sure of the exact time. please e-mail either showsoversynergy [at] hotmail.com or kangadog [at] aol.com
thank you

This is the second woman that I've heard of who suffered a broken bone at the hands of the SFPD; hope there is footage forthcoming to exonerate you.

The woman with the "Courtesy of the SFPD" sling was with me at Montgomery & Market, Thursday about 11 am. The police shoved and then clubbed one protestor, then continued to club him long after he was face down on the pavement; when she yelled at them to stop, the cops began clubbing many of us indiscriminately, hit her and then shoved her down, breaking her arm. They denied our requests that she be released to seek medical attention, too, and even cuffed her snapped wrist.

The cops that did that are a disgrace to the rest of 'em.

If you haven't already, contact the Legal working group. They should know how to get in touch with the IMC video people.

Does anyone know if any affinity group was in charge at this intersection at this time? That might help to identify documentation among the sea of footage.
