SFPD Encircles SF Indymedia Video Screening
As further evidence that San Francisco is now a police state run by the most corrupt command staff in SFPD history, cops were sent to intimidate a VIDEO SCREENING put together by SF Indymedia.
On Saturday night, SF Indymedia and Whispered Media held a video screening in Delores Park. A crowd of maybe 200 people were there to watch some anti-war videos.
SFPD sent one cruiser into Delores Park to sit about 100 yards from the screening. Also, 4-5 cruisers were sitting around Delores Park. Just sitting there, watching.
What kind of city has San Francisco become? Now we can't even have a MOVIE SCREENING without the police state puppets being there to watch your every move?!
This shit has to stop. And considered we outnumber the cops by a couple thousand times, I think I know who the winner will be. But we have to fight to keep this alive! There is so much at stake -- a massacre in Iraq, a "new world order," and saving the limited freedoms we have created here in San Francisco.
The only thing I can hope is that on Monday we shut this city down again.

Look -- the peaceful marches have set a precedent. At peaceful anti-war gatherings, breakaway groups start doing criminal things -- vandalism, etc.
So of course all supposedly peaceful gatherings are going to have this kind of monitoring.
If you want to discredit and distance yourself from the breakaways, this wouldn't happen. You don't want to, so you gotta expect this.
Damn, you guys are stupid not to realize this is going to be a necessary byproduct of the breakaways.
