Violence and Tears

by Eric Wagner (eric [at] basetree.com)
March 20th in San Francisco -- Violence and Tears
inhumanity.jpg
As the blows from the police landed I saw what inhumanity is. In moments one human reduced another to nothing--making two people inhuman.

In those moments I saw that the war had come home, and as I continued to take pictures--desparate for a shot--tears fell from my eyes. I couldn't see and I couldn't breath.

The war has come home.

I don't know what happened to the person on the ground who was hit by the police. The situation was very confusing and violent. I was unable to really keep track of what was going on.

I would really apreciate it if someone could tell me this person is OK.
