This exchange (and others on nearby posts by Swami Tsunami) is a little weird. It's as though all the posters are playing some kind of psy-ops game. Or maybe I'm just a little dense. Anyway, I guess I just wondered if anyone else is confused. Maybe it's not worth wondering about.

I want to thank all the break away marchers for all of their fine work. See I work for an insurance company, a major insurance company here in SF that has made TONS of money every time you people go off and play like little children. Since you started this stuff back in January, I have received 2 large bonuses for the amount of insurance claims processed, (from the damage you cause). If I’m getting bonuses for claims processed, just imagine just how much money you fools are making my company. Do you understand that every time you do the “Black Bloc” thing, you are making major corporations big bucks? The little guy who owns the car you just vandalized, and the poor slob who owns that little store you just broke the window out of, and the major company that you just spray painted the walls of, are paying us to fix it through insurance. Keep American strong; keep making big business big money……………FOOLS

If you're an insurance adjuster, show us the pictures of the private automobile and the small business attacked by anyone during the 2/16 breakaway march. You can't, because those things were not targeted and no one associated with an anarchist group would do such a thing.

First of all I’m not an adjuster, that’s very low level in any company. My position is much much higher. Second, it is completely obvious that you have never been to a break away march in San Francisco, if you believe that anarchist would never do such a thing. PLEASE, don't misunderstand me, I love what you do, this is better than going to Reno. Talk about easy money. Consequences, not the musings of moralists, are the most important aspect of any action. Look at the consequences of the ALF/ELF actions, not the media images and the moral debate. Pay particular attention to who actually benefits. It isn't always immediately obvious. Keep in mind at all times that the property destroyed by the ALF and ELF is heavily insured. Insurance fraud by arson is exceedingly common. Like all crimes, it is easiest to get away with when there is a plausible patsy on hand to take the fall.
