The 'Oakland Riders' are standing trial for committing crimes against African people of West Oakland. With ex-OPD Francisco Vazquez on the lam, the three others - Clarence Mabanag, Jude Siapno and Matthew Hornung - have been accused of beating so-called suspects, falsifying documents, planting evidence and running roughshod over black peoples' rights.
Given guns and badges by the city of Oakland, the 'Riders' represent the Oakland policy of police containment of the African and oppressed communities.
Come out to demonstate on Wednesday at noon in front of the courthouse and show your opposition to a city that criminalizes poor black people. Support economic development as the solution for the problem of crime in our city!! Defeat Jerry Brown's Measure FF!! Not 100 More Riders on the Streets of Oakland!!
