ANIMAL LIBERATION IS A WOMEN'S ISSUE!! Animal Rights Direct Action Coalition and Feminists for Animal Rights present: ANIMAL LIBERATION THROUGH AN ECO-FEMINIST LENS (a slideshow presentation) covering the history of patriarchal attitudes towards women and non-human animals. The show also highlights the parallels between the objectification, exploitation and abuse of women and non-human animals in contemporary society, from their role in pornographic media to the animal testing and slaughterhouse industries.
