Bush, Feinstein, and the PMA: Declaring war on workers is a battle you are bound to lose
The Pacific Maritime Association has LOCKED OUT ILWU portworkers in an attempt to back them down in their struggle for a fair contract.
The PMA is backed by big corporate retailers in the “Western Waterfront Coalition,” which is pushing George Bush to interfere in the contract talks with the ILWU and stop the workers from getting good jobs, fair wages, and health care — and from keeping their Hiring Hall.
The current struggle of the ILWU is a defining moment for the U.S. and international labor movement. Be part of this struggle! Let’s show the PMA, George Bush and the rest of Corporate America that the working people of the Bay Area stand with the ILWU!
-Say No to Taft-Hartley!
-No More PATCOs!
