Protest Dick Cheney SF August 7th!
Dick Cheney will be speaking at the Commonwealth Club early Wednesday morning, August 7, 2002. A great opportunity to protest/flyer his war mongering policies... The press and police outnumbered us when general Myers spoke.
Please come demonstrate your opposition to Cheney, 7:45 registration, program begins at 8:45; the administration, 950 Mason Street, San Francisco. Oppose the "War of Terrorism" against democracy, freedom, the world...!
I just organized a protest for General Myers last Wednesday (and did 5 TV interviews), please someone else take this one on, as I have a weekly demo in downtown Palo Alto Wednesdays, and it would be very hard for me to pull this off, too... Besides the press might want to talk to someone ELSE!!!

It's one war monger after another . . . is this a smoke screen effort by the Administration to keep SF activists busy in the early morning while more crimes are being committed in Washington?
Thank you for alerting us Carol! I will definately be there. AND so will every news provider in the entire Bay Area, in case anyone wants to get a message out . . .
I've always said, if there's one thing I support getting arrested for, it's protesting the immediate presence of one of these criminals who have hijacked our government, murdered many people (domestic and abroad), and have made *billions* (in case you listened to KPFA yesterday) off of other Americans in their corporate BS.
Please show up!
Call in to work and say you'll be in at 10 instead of 9. Tell them you'll work until 6 instead of 5. You've got a week to plan this with your work. We REALLY need to show up for this. He's the world's war criminal, worse than Bush! We have a responsibility to show the world - this CAN get international coverage if we really want it to - that we don't support this adminstration.
Okay, enough said.
