Add an Event911 Warnings Put Bush Under Fire, Issues More Fake Terror Alerts

The Bushies are feeling the heat over their foreknowledge of 911 attacks. Outraged by the disclosure of pre-911 warnings, the public is asking some tough questions of the Bush administration—and the President’s unresponsiveness. In the wake of this criticism, Cheney and the Bush team simply roll out predictions of new terror attacks. It’s one of the oldest tricks in dirty politics:

This is one of the most dangerous times to live in a big city in the U.S. The criminals in power are not going to let their dictatorial powers slip away. The more pressure on the Bushies now, the more likely the CIA will allow, assist, or perpetrate a sizable terror attack on a major U.S. city. Alternatively, they may plant, then hunt and disable a small nuke over a period of 24-48 hours. Recall the Urban Warrior games in SF. The "exercise" was specifically to find and disable a small nuke or bioweapon somewhere in SF (the Presidio). A dress rehearsal for fake terror and martial law.
The sheeple are getting a bit tired of the constant and vague terror warnings, and a few are asking the right questions. The Bushies need another dose of fake terror prop up their power grab.
A few obvious points they will exploit. The next attack will most likely come on the west coast, or possible the U.K. or Western European country. A big west coast city is most likely, particularly one where the antiwar movement is strong. A large nuke would be too destructive and hurt their interests too much. A 'dirty bomb' is somewhat unlikely, because any residual material could be examined and the origin of its materials traced [to some U.S. source]. I would expect it to be a mini nuke, like those they've been working on for years. It will serve their interests perfectly. With a mini-nuke and even a small thermonuclear reaction, any evidence of the device and its design will be vaporized. The claim will be it was a larger al Qaeda nuke that malfunctioned and created a much smaller thermonuclear reaction when detonated, so they'll tell us we were lucky. In the aftermath, martial law will be declared, at least in the state where the incident occurs, but most likely across the nation. We'll have another dragnet scooping up thousands of potential suspects that will include core antiwar activists, and others unhappy with the perpetual war for perpetual peace. The alternative is to issue an alert for a major city (or the country), declare martial law, then proceed with the activist and immigrant roundup. They'll find the "device" within 48 hours (probably 36 to allow for enough media saturation and fake terror), then point the finger at the enemy of their choosing. Of course, the public will never actually see the device to verify its authenticity. Only a handful of CIA agents and one or two "experts" are needed to "verify" the fake nuke's functionality.
What city will they use? San Diego is practically a military base, no need to bother there. L.A. and Hollywood are needed for the propaganda machine. SF would be fine, except a thermonuclear reaction would devastate silicon valley. If something happens in SF, it will ONLY be a scare, or perhaps a landmark target like a bridge. Seattle is an option, but too close to Microsoft and the computer industry. Anything happening in Seattle will also only be a scare. That leaves Portland, whose law enforcement has already broken with Federal dictates to round-up-and-hold suspects without evidence or charges against them. Portland also has a strong antiwar and environmental movement. The U.S. secret police would love having carte blanche to round up effective organizers and activists, seize their computers and other property, and incarcerate them indefinitely without charges. Ditto for SF and Seattle.
Fake terror empowers fake leaders. Watch closely as the Bush Administration plays the terror card to overcome criticism in the next few weeks.
Regardless of ideologies, does anyone not think that this previous post is completely illogical? He is at first criticizing Bush for not issuing warnings pre-Sept 11, when Bush had very little evidence at all. Then in the same post he complains that the President is issuing "fake" orders, which he is doing to be better safe than sorry. So he is mad that he didn't issue orders and also mad that he is issuing orders. It is obvious that this person was at a protest or something when they taught logic in school. Your all must see the lack of logic in his post.
In true mediocre fashion you answer with a one-line comment. How about expanding and actually defend your statement.

Over the weekend, the CBS News Web site carried an article that include this odd claim:
The Washington Post said Saturday that a top-secret briefing memo presented to President Bush in 1998 focused on efforts by Osama bin Laden to strike at targets in the U.S.
Both the Drudge Report and InstaPundit.com quickly pointed out that Bill Clinton was president in 1998, and CBS changed the paragraph to read as follows:
The Washington Post reported Saturday that a 1998 top-secret briefing memo to the president was entitled, "Bin Laden Determined To Strike In U.S" and focused mainly on past efforts by the alleged terrorist mastermind to infiltrate the U.S. and hit targets here.

What's really curious, though, is that the Washington Post piece isn't about a 1998 report at all. It's about the intelligence briefing President Bush received last Aug. 6. You may have heard about that last week when *CBS broke the story!*

Q: What's your opinion on the U.S. government knowing about the September 11th attack but letting it occur in order to have justification for an already planned war in Afghanistan?
It's a common view, and I've read it, over the internet, many times. I think it's extremely implausible. Unless some really serious credible evidence is produced, personally I wouldn't take it very seriously, and I haven't seen any such evidence. It's very unlikely. It's not the kind of thing that happens. I can't think of anything remotely like it in history--maybe the Reichstag fire. But it would be an extremely rare and implausible event, and there'd have been no reason to do it. It would have been crazy, in my opinion.
If you think it's worth investigating, go ahead and investigate it, but personally, I don't think it's credible or even, in my view, at least, even serious enough to investigate.

12 June 2002On 10 June the threat of radiological weapons moved a step closer beyond mere speculation when the US Justice Department revealed that a US citizen with suspected ties to al-Qa'ida had been arrested by the FBI. He had allegedly planned to build and explode a radiological dispersion device (RDD, often called a 'dirty bomb') in the United States.
Washington DC was the probable target of the plot. Robert Mueller, Director of the FBI, said the plot was in the 'discussion stage' when the suspect, Abdullah al Muhajir, was arrested. Al Muhajir was allegedly scouting targets after learning how to build such a device in Pakistan and Afghanistan. Mueller said the plot had not gone any further.
Al Muhajir was arrested on 8 May at O'Hare International Airport in Chicago on his arrival from Pakistan and is being detained as an enemy combatant. He had spent several years overseas, had direct contact with an al-Qa'ida associate, Abu Zubaida, in 2001, and travelled to Lahore and Karachi in Pakistan for research and debriefings on the plan. Zubaida, who has emerged as one of the most important sources of information about possible al-Qa'ida plots, told interrogators about the alleged dirty bomb plan in general terms, but did not name individuals.
An RDD is a conventional bomb combined with radioactive material, such as medical isotopes or spent fuel rods designed to spread over a wide area. The number of immediate deaths and injuries from an RDD may not be substantially greater than from a conventional bomb explosion, but the main effect is panic over radioactivity.
The ready availability of radioactive material needed to make an RDD was highlighted earlier this month with the arrest of six Lithuanian nationals who had stolen a kilo of caesium-137 and intended to sell it on to a German national with links to organised crime. The material, which was confiscated in a raid on 6 June, was unlikely to be pure caesium-137 – which would need protective casing – but the arrests have added weight to recent warnings by security sources that radioactive material has become available on the black market since the break-up of the Soviet Union.

Johnell Bryant, a loan officer in South Florida, said Atta visited her in the spring of 2000, saying he had just arrived from Afghanistan and hoped to earn his pilot's license and buy a plane to use for charter flights and for crop-dusting.
"He wanted to finance a twin-engine, six-passenger aircraft and remove the seats," Bryant told ABC's "World News Tonight" in an interview broadcast yesterday. "He said he was an engineer, and he wanted to build a chemical tank that would fit inside the aircraft and take up every available square inch of the aircraft except for where the pilot would be sitting."
Bryant said Atta also asked about security at the World Trade Center and about Seattle, Chicago and Los Angeles. He showed particular interest in Texas Stadium, home of the NFL's Dallas Cowboys, she said.
Law-enforcement officials said Bryant passed a lie-detector exam and that parts of her story were corroborated by captured Osama bin Laden lieutenant Abu Zabaydah, ABC said.
Bryant said Atta used his real name when she interviewed him.
"I spelled it A-T-T-A-H, and he told me, 'No, A-T-T-A, as in Atta boy!' " Bryant said.
Bryant said she rejected Atta for a loan because he was not a citizen. Before he left, Atta tried to buy a panoramic photo of Washington, D.C., hanging on her wall. He pointed specifically to the White House and Pentagon and called the photo "one of the prettiest" he had seen of the capital.
"He pulled out a wad of cash. He wanted that picture really bad."
Bryant said she explained that the picture had been a gift.
"His look on his face became very bitter at that point," she said. "I believe he said, 'How would America like it if another country destroyed that city and some of the monuments in it' like the cities in his country had been destroyed?"
She recalls Atta mentioning al-Qaida and bin Laden, saying he "would someday be known as the world's greatest leader."
"I didn't know who Osama bin Laden was. He could have been a character on 'Star Wars' for all I knew," Bryant said.
Bryant said she never reported the incident before Sept. 11.
"Should I have picked up the telephone and called someone? You can't ask me that more often than I have asked myself that," she said. "I don't know how I could possibly expect myself to have recognized what that man was. And yet sometimes I haven't forgiven myself."

"Six months after the September 11 attacks, a Florida flight school belatedly received notification from the Immigration and Naturalization Service that two Osama bin Laden disciples--both of whom had enrolled in a professional flight program--had been approved for student visas. The INS notifications were received Monday (3/11) by Rudi Dekkers, owner of Huffman Aviation (Dekkers provided TSG with the below copies of the INS approvals for terrorist ringleader Mohammed Atta and Marwan al-Shehhi). Investigators believe that Atta and al-Shehhi piloted the planes that crashed into the World Trade Center towers. In August 2000, Huffman Aviation filed--on behalf of Atta and al-Shehhi--forms requesting that the INS switch the pair's visa status from tourist to student, a change that allowed Atta and al-Shehhi to enroll in a professional pilot program. While those applications were granted last summer, the formal notification of the approval was not sent until this month. The INS blames a bureaucratic backlog, though others might come to another conclusion."

Producer Quentin McDermott, Four Corners, Australian Broadcast Company...when Atta was here and I saw his face on several occasions in the building, then I know that they're regular students and then I try to talk to them, it's kind of a PR - where are you from, are there more people from where you're from who need to be trained, and I tried to communicate with him. I found out from my people that he lived in Hamburg and he spoke German so one of the days that I saw him, I speak German myself, I'm a Dutch citizen, and I started in the morning telling him in German, "good morning, how are you, how do you like the coffee, are you happy here", and he looked at me with cold eyes, didn't react at all and walked away. That was one of my first meetings I had, or coffee break meetings, and I just didn't like the guy, I talked to him several occasions, the way he looked, the way he was, was to me like I don't like the guy. Sometimes you have that impression from when you meet people in the field and that was my first impression, no - did I have a an impression that he was a terrorist or to become terrorist? Of course not, because if that was the case as I have stated all over the world, I would kill him with my own bare hands, but he was just an asshole first class, he had an attitude towards everybody, towards the instructors, towards Charles Voss where he was staying for a week, and we didn't like the guy, but he was a customer, he was here to do a professional course, after the first month when he had problems with the instructors, the chief flight instructor took him separate, discussed the problems and we have said, if you do not listen to the instructors instruction, then you're out of here, we'll just kick you out and then he's he's changed, he listened to the instructions and and I still didn't like him but he is a customer and he paid the bills and there was nothing else that we could have know, could have seen that he was up to, what he did.
...We had a phone call on December 26 from Signator Flight Support on Miami International that one of our planes with the two suspected hijackers — we didn't know that back then of course, Atta and Al-Shehhi — landed about 3 o'clock in the afternoon on Miami Airport International, they went off the runway and then they had a problem with the plane that either it had too much fuel or they did something, but the engine stopped, on the taxi-way. Now that can happen, they tried to restart it, they were not able to restart it. Now they did something foolish. They cut off communications with ground, they shut off the master switch of the plane and now Miami International had a problem, there was a plane sitting on a taxi-way, no communications, nothing, so they make quite a mistake there. December 27 we had a phone call from the FAA and they stated to us, was it our plane, can we send the maintenance records, etc etc, this is what we found out, but what I don't understand when you obtain December 21st, your licence as a pilot, commercial pilot, that you go to Miami International — I fly 20 years and for me it's still kind of stress to go to Miami International, so what were they doing there, I don't understand that and then they make that big mistake. Then they drove back with a cab from Miami to Venice, and that's 200 miles and they want us to pay for the bill, so we didn't do that, but this is the attitude that they had and they were abusing people around them.

Um, the abcnews.com article that you included in your dismissive 'rebuttal', as well as numerous other sources (such as CBS, The Chicago Tribune, Federation of American Scientists, The Washington Post, etc.), were boldly hyperlinked and embedded in Raimondo's piece. And I've read a painful amount of text (info, misinfo, disinfo, propaganda, blah blah blah, ad nauseam, and various combinations thereof) from other sources pertaining to this and other s11 related matters. So, thanks, but your suggestion that "I read the full interview", "check sources", etc., comes a little late.

I'm familiar with the writings of Raimondo and other columnists at antiwar.com. And no, I don't always agree with any or all of what I read at antiwar.com (as well as other sources that span the ideological and philosophical spectrums). I choose to inform myself by utilizing a wide variety of media outlets -- both well-known, and alternative.
"Shrewdly edited" the interview, you say? Addressing the pertinent elements of the interview (and other articles) in his commentary (while boldly hyperlinking to the above-named sources) is a far cry from a sinister departure from journalistic integrity, as you so hissingly insinuate.
And what exactly is the innuendo about "bias" supposed to mean? Reactionaries screech "bias!" as a cop-out, rather then thoughtfully address the issue at hand. Perhaps you are suffering from a bias-related brain-seize?
However, sweeping declarations of "this is the truth", as if you are the voice of "authority", and arrogant assumptions that the non-Reader's Digest version wasn't read, are pretty frikkin' lame. You've failed to address the absurdities, devil's-in-the-details discrepancies, odd timing of this frightening revelation/interview, etc. You can be convinced of the utmost veracity of every new posthumous release chronicling Pee-Wee Atta's Big Terrorist Adventure. However, ever since I first heard about Atta's passport surviving the jet fuel inferno way back when, I often find myself wondering if it's the scent of bullshit that I smell strategically wafting from somewhere over yonder. And, it sometimes seems as if there is an ongoing attempt to try and bury that bullshit with even more neatly packaged bullshit.
Conspiracy theorists have the advantage in that they never need facts, only suspicion -- come to think of it, isn't that the same reason you have for distrusting the government?

When you have reached (M) and have left the taxi, say a supplication of place ['Oh Lord, I ask you for the best of this place, and ask you to protect me from its evils'], and everywhere you go say that prayer and smile and be calm, for God is with the believers. And the angels protect you without you feeling anything. Say this supplication: 'God is more dear than all of His creation.' And say: 'Oh Lord, protect me from them as You wish.' And say: 'Oh Lord, take your anger out on [the enemy] and we ask You to protect us from their evils.' And say: 'Oh Lord, block their vision from in front of them, so that they may not see.' And say: 'God is all we need, He is the best to rely upon.' Remember God's words: 'Those to whom the people said, "The people have gathered to get you, so fear them," but that only increased their faith and they said, God is all we need, He is the best to rely upon.' After you say that, you will find [unclear] as God promised this to his servants who say this supplication:
1 They will come back [from battle] with God's blessings
2 They were not harmed
3 And God was satisfied with them.
God says: 'They came back with God's blessings, were not harmed, and God was satisfied with them, and God is ever-blessing.'
All of their equipment and gates and technology will not prevent, nor harm, except by God's will. The believers do not fear such things. The only ones that fear it are the allies of Satan, who are the brothers of the devil. They have become their allies, God save us, for fear is a great form of worship, and the only one worthy of it is God. He is the only one who deserves it. He said in the verses: 'This is only the Devil scaring his allies' who are fascinated with Western civilisation, and have drank the love [of the West] like they drink water [unclear] and have become afraid of their weak equipment, 'so fear them not, and fear Me, if you are believers.'
Fear is a great worship. The allies of God do not offer such worship except for the one God, who controls everything. [unclear] with total certainty that God will weaken the schemes of non-believers. God said: 'God will weaken the schemes of the non-believers.'
You must remember your brothers with all respect. No one should notice that you are making the supplication, 'There is no God but God,' because if you say it 1,000 times no one will be able to tell whether you are quiet or remember God. And among its miracles is what the Prophet, peace be upon him, said: 'Whoever says, "There is no God but God," with all his heart, goes to heaven.' The prophet, peace be upon him, said: 'If you put all the worlds and universes on one side of the balance, and "No God but God" on the other, "No God but God" will weigh more heavily.' You can repeat these words confidently, and this is just one of the strengths of these words. Whoever thinks deeply about these words will find that they have no dots [in the Arabic letter] and this is just one of its greatnesses, for words that have dots in them carry less weight than those that do not. And it is enough that these are the words of monotheism, which will make you steadfast in battle [unclear] as the prophet, peace be upon him, and his companions, and those who came after them, God willing, until the Day of Judgment.
Do not seem confused or show signs of nervous tension. Be happy, optimistic, calm because you are heading for a deed that God loves and will accept. It will be the day, God willing, you spend with the women of paradise.

You must remember to make supplications wherever you go, and anytime you do anything, and God is with his faithful servants, He will protect them and make their tasks easier, and give them success and control, and victory, and everything ...
THE THIRD PHASE
When you ride the (T) [probably for tayyara, aeroplane in Arabic], before your foot steps in it, and before you enter it, you make a prayer and supplications. Remember that this is a battle for the sake of God. As the prophet, peace be upon him, said, 'An action for the sake of God is better than all of what is in this world.' When you step inside the (T), and sit in your seat, begin with the known supplications that we have mentioned before. Be busy with the constant remembrance of God. God said: 'Oh ye faithful, when you find the enemy be steadfast, and remember God constantly so that you may be successful.' When the (T) moves, even slightly, toward (Q) [unknown reference], say the supplication of travel. Because you are traveling to Almighty God, so be attentive on this trip.
Then [unclear] it takes off. This is the moment that both groups come together. So remember God, as He said in His book: 'Oh Lord, pour your patience upon us and make our feet steadfast and give us victory over the infidels.' And His words: 'And the only thing they said Lord, forgive our sins and excesses and make our feet steadfast and give us victory over the infidels.' And His prophet said: 'Oh Lord, You have revealed the book, You move the clouds, You gave us victory over the enemy, conquer them and give us victory over them.' Give us victory and make the ground shake under their feet. Pray for yourself and all your brothers that they may be victorious and hit their targets and ask God to grant you martyrdom facing the enemy, not running away from it, and for Him to grant you patience and the feeling that anything that happens to you is for Him.
Then every one of you should prepare to carry out his role in a way that would satisfy God. You should clench your teeth, as the pious early generations did.
When the confrontation begins, strike like champions who do not want to go back to this world. Shout, 'Allahu Akbar,' because this strikes fear in the hearts of the non-believers. God said: 'Strike above the neck, and strike at all of their extremities.' Know that the gardens of paradise are waiting for you in all their beauty, and the women of paradise are waiting, calling out, 'Come hither, friend of God.' They have dressed in their most beautiful clothing.
If God decrees that any of you are to slaughter, dedicate the slaughter to your fathers and [unclear], because you have obligations toward them. Do not disagree, and obey. If you slaughter, do not cause the discomfort of those you are killing, because this is one of the practices of the prophet, peace be upon him. On one condition: that you do not become distracted by [unclear] and neglect what is greater, paying attention to the enemy. That would be treason, and would do more damage than good. If this happens, the deed at hand is more important than doing that, because the deed is an obligation, and [the other thing] is optional. And an obligation has priority over an option.
Do not seek revenge for yourself. Strike for God's sake. One time Ali bin Abi Talib [a companion and close relative of the prophet Muhammad], fought with a non-believer. The non-believer spit on Ali, may God bless him. Ali [unclear] his sword, but did not strike him. When the battle was over, the companions of the prophet asked him why he had not smitten the non-believer. He said, 'After he spat at me, I was afraid I would be striking at him in revenge for myself, so I lifted my sword.' After he renewed his intentions, he went back and killed the man. This means that before you do anything, make sure your soul is prepared to do everything for God only.
Then implement the way of the prophet in taking prisoners. Take prisoners and kill them. As Almighty God said: 'No prophet should have prisoners until he has soaked the land with blood. You want the bounties of this world [in exchange for prisoners] and God wants the other world [for you], and God is all-powerful, all-wise.'
If everything goes well, every one of you should pat the other on the shoulder in confidence that (M) and (T) number (K). Remind your brothers that this act is for Almighty God. Do not confuse your brothers or distract them. He should give them glad tidings and make them calm, and remind them [of God] and encourage them. How beautiful it is for one to read God's words, such as: 'And those who prefer the afterlife over this world should fight for the sake of God.' And His words: 'Do not suppose that those who are killed for the sake of God are dead; they are alive ... ' And others. Or they should sing songs to boost their morale, as the pious first generations did in the throes of battle, to bring calm, tranquillity and joy to the hearts of his brothers.
Do not forget to take a bounty, even if it is a glass of water to quench your thirst or that of your brothers, if possible. When the hour of reality approaches, the zero hour, [unclear] and wholeheartedly welcome death for the sake of God. Always be remembering God. Either end your life while praying, seconds before the target, or make your last words: 'There is no God but God, Muhammad is His messenger'.
Afterwards, we will all meet in the highest heaven, God willing.
If you see the enemy as strong, remember the groups [that had formed a coalition to fight the prophet Muhammad]. They were 10,000. Remember how God gave victory to his faithful servants. He said: 'When the faithful saw the groups, they said, this is what God and the prophet promised, they said the truth. It only increased their faith.'
And may the peace of God be upon the prophet.

keyboard-mouth. But now that you mention it. Why does it necessarily follow, that if "so-and-so" likely
met Atta, that everybody who claims to have met Atta actually met him?

Do you see where I'm coming from? How does the cliché go? "There's nothing new under the sun"?
One of the official conspiracy theories out there, is that the attacks that took place on s11 were "blowback",
perpetrated by one of those modern day "bin" dudes. But, maybe not blowback? And, could one of Atta's
roles had been that of a highly visible (pseudo)villain, for post-s11 corroborative efforts ? Perhaps he played
that role knowingly, or, perhaps as a patsy?

It's a fact, that there are gaping holes in the "official" story. It's a fact that there are glaring discrepancies,
contradictions, absurdities, suspicious 'coincidences', etc., etc.

When you hear a theory from anyone--MSNBC, The President, your mother in law or spineless coward psuedo journalists who are afraid to sign their name to their own spew--apply Occams Razor (The simplest explanation is most likely true) For Instance: Is it more likely that Mohammed Atta was an Egytpian born islamic terrorist, Or was he an Egyptian born islamic tool of the CIA.

I can understand your confusion, but I think that the "contradictory" statements are simply contradictory because the auther did not explain himself as clearly as he could have. I think that the author was trying to say that before the attacks, the Bushites did not issue any warnings that could have prevented the attacks, but after the attacks, "fake" warnings were issued to make it seem as if he was trying to "save the American people." In the past 50 years, it has become common knowledge that FDR knew very well that the Japanese were going to attack Pearl Harbor. It is also common knowledge that we cracked the Japanese code months before the attack. It is even common knowledge that some factions of the American government even instigated the attacks by angering the Japanese by restricting petroleom deals between Japan and other countries. Is it too much to wonder that the same thing could have happened in the 9/11 incident? I'm just asking you to keep an open mind.
What applies best here is criminal methods. Means, motive and opportunity. Who had access?
Who had capability (an eleven foot tall Muslim in a cave halfway around the world in a stone age country, or the CIA? apply Occam's THERE)?
who benefitted the most? .. note the Taliban's increased governmental powers since 9/11 (lol).
motive. means. opportunity. facts. Occam's comes if all these have provided no answer after having been FULLY investigated, with no parties above suspicion.
